Awaiting Restoration
Waiting for a Sofer to check and repair it so it is kosher again. Not yet open to partners.
Restoration 001
The 770 Torah
Miami Beach, United States
The 770 Torah was written in 2003 and serves Beth Eliyahu Mani Sephardic Shul, the Bukharian Sephardic Jewish Center in Miami Beach, under Rabbi Rafael Muratov. It is the first Torah in the BuildATorah restoration queue. A Sofer will check every letter and repair it so it can be read from again as a kosher Torah.
Why this community needs a Torah
A Torah with damaged letters cannot be read from in services. Restoring it returns it to the community it was written for.
